Jarrell ISD welding students earn recognitions, scholarships

Several Jarrell ISD students earned recognition in the Texas High School Welding Series welding contest November 14 at Texas State University Students earning scholarships and certifications were Ty Chase, Tucker Adkins, Esteban Cruz, Jayden Santos, Raya Rabold, Lilliona Kirby and Christopher Edwards.

Raya Rabold placed third, receiving a $500 tuition scholarship to The Ocean Corp underwater welding school and an AWS D9.1 welding certification.

Ty Chase and Tucker Adkins also received $500 scholarships to The Ocean Corps underwater welding school.
