Christmas begins at the Courthouse

Now that Halloween has come and gone, Williamson County is looking toward the Christmas season. The Williamson County Courthouse received its first holiday decorations on Wednesday, November 2, when workers used a lifttoplacewreathsandlightsnear building entrances. Throughout the rest of the month, the Square will be decked out as the community prepares for the Lighting of the Square, which is scheduled for Friday, November 25. The event culminates at dusk, when a switch is flipped and the Square becomes a magical sea of lights, cascading across historic buildings and woven through the trees. — Photos by Brigid Cooley
