Georgetown High School students convert old Mustang to electric-powered auto

No kit, no instruction manual, not even help from the internet — that’s the challenge Georgetown High School automotive students faced when instructor Kelley Mayo announced they’d be building an electric car.
Mr. Mayo, sophomore Ricardo Rodriguez and juniors Michael Friemel and James Huegel, started converting a donated 1992 Ford Fox Body Mustang to an electric vehicle this fall.
