New Moody marker unveiled

On November 6, 12 members of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution Robert Gilbert Livingston Chapter attended the unveiling of a new Texas Historical Marker honoring Dan Moody, the annual Salute to Veterans and reception at The Dan Moody Museum in Taylor.

This year’s Salute to Veterans focused on honoring women veterans. The guest speaker was Master Sergeant (Ret.) Elida Yanez. Following the ceremony, Susan Komandosky, chair of the museum’s advisory board, led the Robert Gilbert Livingston Chapter on a private tour of the museum.
