The City of Taylor celebrated Olympian Fred Kerley Saturday, February 4, by dedicating a mural painted by artist Adam Davenport. The Taylor High School and Texas A&M graduate won the Silver Medal in the 100 meter event at the 2021 Olympic Games held in Tokyo. In 2022, he won first place in the 100 meter event at the World Championships in Eugene, Oregon
