Month of the Arts yarn bombing project coming

There is still time to join in the yarn bombing project, another Arts and Culture community collaboration for October’s Month of the Arts.

Georgetown Arts and Culture is collaborating with Preservation Georgetown and the Knitting Cup to bring a yarn bombing public art project to the new South Main Arts District to celebrate the community arts events during October Month of the Arts and the Best Little Yarn Crawl in Texas.

Donations of all types of fiber art that can be incorporated into the yarn bombing pieces will be appreciated. If you have knitted scarves, hats, and even afghan blankets that you are willing to share for this project, please contact arts@georgetown. org. If you would like to help, speak up, sign up.
