    Coined as a metaphysical shop by owner KandyMitchell,SilverMoonCuriosbrings crystal products and permanent makeup services to downtown Georgetown.

    Located at 308 West Eighth Street, the store is open from noon-5:30 p.m. Wednesday-Friday and 11 a.m-6 p.m. Saturdays.

    Patrons can peruse crystals, geodes, incense, tarot decks and crystal jewelry crafted by Ms. Mitchell.

    The shop also doubles as a permanent makeup salon with cosmetic tattoo services offered by Ms. Mitchell, who has worked in the beauty industry for over 15 years.

    Cosmetic tattooing, also known as permanent makeup, uses semi-permanent inks and dyes to enhance face and body features. The most popular services include filling in eyebrows with a technique known as nano blading, drawing on eyeliner and enhancing lip shape and color through lip blushing, Ms. Mitchell said.

    “My whole purpose really has always been empowering women, and I do that with cosmetic tattooing,” she said. “It really affects women a lot when they’re not confident with how they look. A lot of women draw on their eyebrows and their eyeliner and all that. What I do makes it just a bit easier for them.”
