Georgetown American Association of University Women receives $8,000 grant

The W. D. Kelley Foundation announced September 24 that a grant of $8,000 was awarded to the Georgetown branch of the American Association of University Women.

The organization will use the grant to fund scholarships assisting graduating Georgetown ISD women. Two young women will receive $4,000 scholarships later this school year.

The mission statement of the W. D. Kelley Foundation is to engage and partner with leaders who impact education and human services in Williamson County.

The American Association of University Women advances equity for women and girls through research, education and advocacy.
