Remembering the American Revolution

The Robert Gilbert Livingston Chapter of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution is looking for ways to honor and promote American Revolution heroes in the three-year leadup to the United States’ 250th anniversary. The Georgetown chapter’s “America 250! Committee” is working to spread the story of the group’s ancestors with the community and to educate children. Pictured here from left, Nancy Bond, Regent Emma Griffis, Lenice Smithwick, Carolyn Patterson, Margaret Johnson and Ginny Patterson stand with signs displaying the names and ranks of individuals with patriotic service.
