Trunk-or-treat at the new Jarrell fire station
The Jarrell Fire Department will host an open house and Halloween trunk-or-treat event 5 p.m., October 29, at the department’s new fire station.
Also known as Williamson County ESD 5, the Jarrell Fire Department provides fire, rescue and emergency medical service to 75 square miles of north Williamson County, including Jarrell, the Sonterra community, Live Oak, Green Acres and Corn Hill.
According to the Jarrell Chamber of Commerce, registered businesses and organizations can decorate their cars and give out candy to kids at the event.
Trunk-or-treating begins after a 5 p.m. ribbon cutting for the new facility.

The new fire station is at 212 North Fifth Street in Jarrell, west of Interstate 35.
