Members of the sheriff’s office and district attorney’s office hear a prayer by Rev. Jarvis Philpot for the young women found north of Georgetown identified by wearing orange socks. She was buried in a white pine box with only a small bouquet of flowers provided by a collection from the sheriff's office staff.
* The Chamber quarterly breakfast was held in the San Gabriel Park Center. The Chamber Ambassadors cooked a full breakfast, including home-made tortillas by Flower Box owner, Susie Ramos. Steve Benton with the Wilco Sheriff’s Department explained the new Neighborhood Watch Program.

* Franz Rath, 74, passed away on November 10. He long owned the local bakery.

Bernie Sandberg, minister, and former District Superintendent, spoke. He was a member of the congregation when he was a student at Southwestern, and thanked them for praying for him as he studied for the ministry.

Robert Cooke, 1955 -2014, has passed away. He never gave up the search for his daughter, Rachel, who disappeared in 2002.
