Patriot’s Pen winner Adrik Stepanov reads his winning essay to VFW Post 8587 members at the group’s monthly meeting. Adrik is 11 and attends Meridian World School as a sixth grader. His parents are Rachel and Yegivny (Will) Stepanov.

Post Commander Don Willhouse presents Wyatt Handy, winner of the Voice of Democracy Competition, with his check. Wyatt also won the competition at the District 28 level and will receive another check in the near future.
