Children celebrate phonics with the marriage of ‘Q’ and ‘U’

Guests enjoyed a real wedding cake decorated with the letters “Q” and “U.”
The little groom “Q” and the little bride “U” were joined together in a very special wedding at Georgetown’s Primrose School March 30.
“We will watch Q and U spend their lives working together to make words,” said Kevin Pitts, ceremony officiant and Georgetown City Council Member. “Q and U are a match made in phonics heaven.”
