Georgetown Health Foundation awarded approximately $1.6 million in grants to 19 area charities on June 12.
According to a press release, Georgetown Health Foundation works with its grant partners to “achieve the common goal of improving community health.” The partners are vetted by a board-appointed Grants Committee and Georgetown Health Foundation staff.
