‘Holding steady, slight improvement’ in revamped state test
Georgetown ISD trustees recently got a first look at 2023 Reading and Math STAAR scores for students in grades 3 through 8 — and the conclusion was, “We’re holding steady with a slight improvement,” according to Wes Vanicek, GISD’s chief strategist for Assessment and Feedback.
Board members met Tuesday, September 5, for the data review in their monthly workshop session.
