April is Child Abuse Awareness and Prevention Month

The Williamson County Commissioners Court declared April as Child Abuse Awareness and Prevention Month during the April 9 meeting.
According to the proclamation read at the meeting, the Williamson County Child Advocacy Center reviewed 5,298 intakes of alleged child abuse, conducted 917 forensic interviews
and 423 forensic medical exams in Fiscal Year 2023.
