A Teacher Appreciation Week assembly at Jarrell Elementary School turned into a cash bonanza Friday, when Sun Citians Dave and Jill Gaulden presented a $100 bill to each teacher and staff member at the school.
“This is a small, small token recognizing the important work you do for students,” Mr. Gaulden said to the surprised assembly of staff and students on May 10.
