The Developer reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive any and all formalities in bidding. The Developer reserves the right to determine which Bids are lowest and are in the best interest of the Developer, and to award the Contract on this basis. The Bid Security of successful Bidder will be retained until such Bidder has executed the Agreement, furnished the required Contract security, and met the other conditions of the Notice of Award, whereupon the Bid Security will be returned. If the successful Bidder fails to execute and deliver the Agreement and furnish the required Contract security within seven (7) days after the Notice of Award, Developer may annul the Notice of Award, and the Bid Security of that Bidder will be forfeited. The Bid Security of the other Bidders whom Developer believes to have a reasonable chance of receiving the award may be retained by Developer until the earlier of the seventh day after the Effective Date of the Agreement or the sixtieth (60th) day after the Bid opening, whereupon Bid Security furnished by such Bidders will be discarded unless otherwise notified. Bid Security with Bids which are not competitive will be discarded within seven days after Bid opening unless notified.

The Advertisement for Bids includes a required Statement of Qualifications with specific minimum qualifications that must be met in order for the Bid to be considered. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Liberty Hill has initiated proposed Unified Development Code (UDC) text amendments to Section 6.12 (Sign Regulations) and Section 6.13 (Outdoor Lighting) of the City of Liberty Hill UDC. Public hearings on these proposed UDC text amendments will be conducted by the Planning and Zoning Commission at the Liberty Hill Municipal Courthouse, 2801 Ranch Rd 1869, Liberty Hill, TX 78642, on Tuesday, June 4, 2024, at 6:30 PM. Upon receiving a recommendation from the Commission, the City Council will conduct its own public hearings and take final action on these matters on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, at 6:00 PM at the Liberty Hill Municipal Courthouse, 2801 Ranch Rd 1869, Liberty Hill, TX 78642.
