Williamson County Sun office temporarily closed

Due to a staffing shortage and ongoing renovations at the Williamson County Sun office on the Square in Georgetown, the newspaper will be temporarily closing its office and lobby to the public beginning Friday, May 31.

The Sun's editorial and administrative staff will still be working regular office hours, from 9 a.m. to noon, and 1-5 p.m. Monday-Friday. For business inquiries or to pitch story ideas, please call the Sun at  512-930-4824 or email the Sun for a timely response.

Come work at the Sun!

We have a full or part-time opening in our Customer Service Department. Primary duties include helping customers with their advertising and subscription needs. The position requires a person who can help callers and visitors in a warm and friendly manner; who can work accurately in a public-facing office and who is attentive to details. The Sun is consolidating on the second floor of its historic building on the Square, so you should be comfortable going up and down stairs. (The Square is a fun place to work!) Pay range is $15 to $20 hourly plus Paid Time Off. Please send an email, and a resume, to Clark Thurmond at clark@wilcosun.com.
