Notice is hereby given that First Texas Bank in Georgetown, Texas intends to file an application of merger with the Texas Department of Banking and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation wherein First Texas Bank in Killeen, Texas will merge with and become part of First Texas Bank in Georgetown, Texas. It is contemplated that all offices of the above-named institutions will continue to be operated following the merger.
Any person wishing to comment on this application, either for or against, may file written comments with the Texas Department of Banking, 2601 North Lamar Boulevard, Austin, Texas 78705-4294 on or before the 14th day after the date of this publication. Such comments will be made a part of the record before and considered by the banking commissioner. Any person wishing to formally protest and oppose the merger application and participate in the application process may do so by filing a written notice of protest with the Texas Department of Banking on or before the 14th calendar day after the date of this publication accompanied by a protest filing fee of $2,500. The protest fee may be reduced or waived by the banking commissioner upon a showing of substantial hardship.
Any person wishing to comment on this application may file his or her comments in writing with the regional director of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation at the appropriate FDIC office at 600 North Pearl Street, Suite 700, Dallas, TX 75201 not later than August 19, 2024. The non-confidential portions of the application are on file at the appropriate FDIC office and are available for public inspection during regular business hours. Photocopies of the nonconfidential portion of the application file will be made available upon request.
