Georgetown ISD trustees unanimously approved a new property tax rate of $1.0544 per $100 valuation at the August 19 meeting.
The increase brings the tax rate up from $0.0077 per $100 valuation, which is less than a penny more than last year, Chief Financial Officer Jennifer Hanna said.
