Strings and Things: Independence Day musical celebrations are county wide

Williamson County is home to a multitude of live music genres from rock and country to classical and symphonic. Find your favorite places to enjoy the tunes and voices of local musicians and bands during this year’s numerous Independence Day celebrations including MARS.

The high-voltage band, MARS — Middle Aged Rock Stars — are bringing their best hard rock and classic metal as they take over Georgetown’s courthouse lawn on the Fourth of July. The public is invited to bring family, friends and lawn chairs with an additional word of advice to arrive early.
