Williamson County sees first West Nile case

Flooding increases mosquito-related disease risk

The Williamson County and Cities Health District has confirmed the first human case of West Nile Virus, July 3.

According to the health district, the individual is a resident in their 40s living in southern Williamson County. So far this season, zero mosquito trap samples have tested positive for WNV in Williamson County.
