On Tuesday, September 2, at around 2:30 p.m., an oversized load from an 18-wheeler traveling on Interstate 35 struck the Highway 29 overpass near Wolf Ranch.
Parts of the bridge’s siding fell to the highway, causing southbound lanes on I-35 as well as the overpass above to be shut down until around 7:30 a.m. Wednesday morning.
