Polling places: Early voting for May 2 election starts April 20

It’s election time again, and Williamson County residents can vote in city, school board and special elections on Saturday, May 2.

Here’s a quick look at the contested races and propositions on the May 2 ballot across Williamson County. Ballots vary depending on where a voter lives.  

  • Georgetown: Water territory sale proposition and District 6 City Council race
  • Cedar Park: Mayor, Council Places 2, 4 and 6, and 15 City Charter amendments
  • Florence: Mayor, and two at-large city council seats 
  • Granger: Three at-large city council seats
  • Granger ISD: Three at-large trustee seats
  • Bartlett: Two at-large city council seats 
    Bartlett ISD: Two at-large trustee seats, a $12.5 million bond propositions, and two bond refunding propositions totaling $4.3 million 
  • Hutto: Council Places 1 and 4
  • Hutto ISD: Two at-large trustee seats
  • Liberty Hill: Sales tax reauthorization proposition 
  • Liberty Hill ISD: Trustee Places 1, 2 and 4
  • Liberty Hill Public Library District: Two at-large directors 
  • Round Rock: Mayor, and two Home Rule Charter amendments related to electronic billboards and fire department staffing
  • Taylor: Mayor
  • Thrall: Sales tax reauthorization proposition 
  • Thrall ISD: Two at-large trustee seats
  • Anderson Mill Limited District: Directors for Places 4 and 5

Voting locations 

Early voting starts Monday, April 20, and runs until Tuesday, April 28, although hours vary through the process. Polling places are open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. April 20-25, except for Tuesday, April 21, when locations are closed. Locations are also closed Sunday, April 26, but will be open April 27-28 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. 

For this election, registered Williamson County residents can vote at any polling location, regardless of which precinct they live in. 

Early voting main location and limited ballot voting

This location serves as the main polling place and is the only place those with a limited ballot can vote in person.

Early voting branch locations

These locations are open during all designated early voting hours. Any voters in the county can use these locations. 

  • Georgetown: Georgetown Fire Station No. 6, 6700 Williams Drive, Community Room
  • Georgetown: Georgetown City Hall, 808 Martin Luther King Jr Street, Community Room
  • Georgetown: The Oaks Community Center - Sun City, 301 Del Webb Boulevard, The Oaks Room
  • Georgetown: Georgetown ISD Technology Bldg., 603 Lakeway Drive, Large Conference Room
  • Austin: Anderson Mill Limited District, 11500 El Salido Parkway, Room A
  • Cedar Park: Cedar Park Recreation Center, 1435 Main Street, San Gabriel Room
  • Cedar Park: Lakeline Oaks MUD, 1000 Old Mill Road, Board Room
  • Hutto: Hutto Discovery United Methodist Church, 350 Ed Schmidt Boulevard, Meeting Room 1
  • Liberty Hill: Liberty Hill ISD Gym Annex, 301 Forrest Street, Gymnasium
  • Round Rock: Allen R Baca Center, 301 West Bagdad Avenue, Meeting Room 3
  • Round Rock: Wilco Jester Annex, 1801 East Old Settlers Boulevard, Anderson & Harrell Rooms

Part time early voting locations 

The following two part time early voting locations are only open April 27-27, for 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Any voters in the county can use these locations. 

  • Bartlett: City of Bartlett Town Hall, 140 West Clark Street
  • Florence: Florence City Hall, 851 Farm to Market Road 970, Council Chambers
