Georgetown anticipated $5 million shortfall in FY27 revenue

The City of Georgetown will have about $5 million more in expenses than the revenues it receives as part of anticipated reserve fund usage in the 2027 fiscal year budget. 

According to the city’s budget team, even with this difference, all of the city’s funds will still have “healthy” contingency and reserve balances.
