Patricia Elizabeth Ryburn

Patricia Elizabeth Ryburn went home to God on October 8, 2026. Patricia was born in Tacoma, Washington in March 1931 to parents Henry and Ivy Wain. Early childhood was lived around the Seattle and Renton area in Washington state. When her father became employed in the logging industry, they moved to the community of Lester, Washington. This was a small town in the Cascade Mountains of Northern Washington state where the train came through once a week to deliver mail, food, and other supplies. Her high school graduating class was her and two other girls.

Following high school, she found employment in Japan for two years as a civilian office worker at the U.S. controlled Camp Zema typing letters and other office work for generals and such. Patricia then came home and became an airline stewardess for Western Airlines (now Delta). She met and married husband John Ryburn in May 1961. This union brought two children - Douglas (now deceased) and Edward, with one grandson - Roman. Patricia had a younger brother William (now deceased). Patricia far outlived her immediate family members and cousins and their spouses.

Patricia was a quiet homemaker who loved to travel with John and they took many enjoyable trips, including to Antarctica, which is something to behold. She was of good spirit and enjoyed good health until her final months of life. Her death was a quiet and peaceful one.

Patricia believed in the Church and in maintaining good dietary functioning. May her soul be at peace with Jesus.
