Colonel John “Jay” James Baker III

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Colonel John “Jay” James Baker III (retired U.S. Air Force) on April 19, 2025, after a courageous battle with Alzheimer’s disease and multiple myeloma.Jay was born on August 11, 1940, in Brooklyn, New York, to John “Jack” and Marie Baker.

Ralph E. Warren, 65, of Georgetown, went to be with our lord on April 4, 2025.Ralph was born November 26, 1959, in Ballinger, Texas, to William “Bill” and Ina Warren. He grew up in Paint Rock, Texas, and went on to graduate from Paint Rock High School and Angelo State University.

Joanne Louise Allen

Joanne Louise Allen of Georgetown, Texas, passed away on April 16 at the age of 89.  Born on May 29, 1935, in Aniwa, Wisconsin. She grew up on the family farm in Wausau tending the garden, milking cows, and in charge of the chickens.

Barbara Hazelwood, age 92, of Georgetown, Texas, passed away on April 1, 2025. She was born on July 28, 1932, in Cudahy, Wisconsin to Herbert and Anna Schultz. When Barbara was in her early teens, the family moved to California, where she completed high school.

Emily Joyce Burden Stohler Adney

Emily Joyce Burden Stohler Adney, 72, of Burnet, Texas, died on April 22, 2025. She was born on October 24, 1952, in Raymondville, Texas, to William Grady Burden and Joyce Gaynelle Boone Burden.

Guadalupe Vallejo

Guadalupe Vallejo, born on April 3, 1937, of Mexico, peacefully passed away on March 30, 2025, surrounded by her loving children and grandchildren. Guadalupe was the beloved daughter of Midio Vallejo and Elesia Rojas.Guadalupe became a widow in 1994, after the passing of her beloved Clemente Aviles.

Anette Lynn Snowden

Born Helen Anette Lynn on March 12, 1939, in Muskogee, Oklahoma, to Edward Harbison Lynn, Sr. and Helen Murray Lynn. She grew up in Checotah, Oklahoma and graduated high school there.
