New representation needed for 31st District

Congressman John Carter is one of 299 Republicans running for office across the country this year that deny Joe Biden is the legitimate president. Donald Trump’s supporters filed 60 court challenges to that election and not one was found to have any merit.

What basis does anyone use to make a claim that the election was illegitimate? According to Ruth Ben-Ghiat, a historian at New York University, “Election denialism is a form of corruption.”

I called Representative Carter’s office and asked the basis for his position and was told someone would call back.

Why do we keep reelecting this man? We can and must do better at having someone represent all constituents in the Texas 31st District for the House of Representatives.
