Newspaper should not support candidates

To Publisher Linda Scarbrough, I have been a resident in Georgetown for over nine years and have been a subscriber to the Sun ever since I arrived. I have found it to be a wonderful hometown newspaper with good and informative articles.

To my great dismay I read your editorial on the elections. It is fine to give information about the candidates, but I don’t think it is your place to tell everyone who to vote for. I don’t care who you are for, but that was going too far in my estimation. I can’t tell you how disappointed I was and I believe it is no one’s business but your own as to who you vote for.
