A poem about Governor Greg Abbott

Abbott the rabbit has a bad habit Of whining and running away A cruel man, a liar, an election denier Let’s dump him on Election Day. El Paso, Uvalde, Sutherland Springs Those dark days with Abbott and the NRA He runs from these horrors and hides from these truths Let’s dump him on Election Day. Fining medical doctors, forcing births on young women while sending innocent people to jail; Real Texans recoil in disgust and dismay. These intrusions on Freedom will never prevail In November, remember to dump him on Election Day. With Abbott in charge, we all nearly froze While Greg Abbot and Ted Cruz played A leader he’s not and we’ve not forgot the hardships and failures and delays We’ve had quite enough; let’s call Abbott’s bluff And dump him on Election Day ALLEN C.
