The new seats await attendees for the Palace’s production of Oklahoma, which opens Friday, October 2, continuing through November 1.

On 25th anniversary, Georgetown stair climb honors victims of 9/11

The Georgetown Fire and Police departments on Friday continued their tradition of honoring the victims and heroes of the attacks on September 11, 2001, by climbing the bleachers at Georgetown High School football stadium early in the morning.

Southwestern students move into Jessie Daniel Ames Hall

Southwestern University students moved into Jessie Daniel Ames Hall on Saturday, August 15, 2026, during freshmen move-in day. Jessie Daniel Ames Hall opened to students in January.  Approximately 1,400 students will begin their classes at the university on August 24.
