A Seoul-ful celebration: Williamson County welcomes sister city

Gift exchanges, new experiences and heartfelt thanks were shared with out-of-town guests from Williamson County’s sister city on January 9. With an estimated 200 attendees at the Wilco Expo Center, the festive atmosphere was warm and welcoming.

Georgetown has breakfast with Santa

Breakfast With Santa was held Saturday, December 21, 2024, at the San Gabriel Community Center.  The event, coordinated by the Georgetown Fire Department and the Rotary Club of Sun City, served up pancakes, sausage, juice and coffee too attendees.

WHO packs cookies for Holiday Meals Delivered

Since 2008, Women Helping Others volunteers in Sun City have baked, prepared and packed cookies ahead of Christmas to distribute as part of nonprofit Holiday Meals Delivered's meals to Georgetown families. This year, WHO volunteers met Monday, December 23, to pack 500 dozen home made cookies.
