Junior Writer Collins, left, and sophomore Tristan Guckian play Albus Potter and Scorpius Malfoy, respectively. They rehearse for the EVHS production of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. The characters are sons of longtime enemies Harry Potter and Draco Malfoy. The play makes its Texas premiere at East View High School this weekend.

Animals blessed in Georgetown
7-year-old Axyl Johannsen, front, and his brother Lynnox, 3, right, helped unload pumpkins at First United Methodist Church on Wednesday, October 9, 2024. 2,880 large pumpkins, plus many smaller versions were unloaded at the church. Cole Benson, 14, and Astin Carrillo, 12, carry a board that will soon be part of a bed for a boy or girl in the Georgetown area. Both young men volunteered their time for Sleep in Heavenly Peace. Cole attends Meridian World School in Round Rock and Astin is home schooled.
