The historic Coupland Inn and Dancehall, built in 1904, holds dance classes every Sunday from 2-4 p.m.  The classes are free, but donations are appreciated.  On this day students were learning the Texas Two Step and Line Dancing techniques.

Texas Governor Greg Abbott spoke to a large crowd gathered at the Sun City Texas Community Association Memorial Day observance held Monday, May 29. The service honored the men and women of the U.S. armed forces who have  given their lives in service to the country.

At Georgetown ISD's Richarte High  School, 82 graduates received their diplomas Thursday, May 25. With others completing their course work this summer, the high school class will have 112 total graduates.

It’s been quite a while since the last visit to what was once Granger First United Methodist Church, an iconic structure at the corner of South Granger and East Elm streets.   Since May is National Preservation Month, it’s a good time for a project update. A little backstory.
