This is to give notice of intent to introduce in the 89th Legislature, Regular Session, a bill to be entitled an Act relating to the Williamson County Municipal Utility District No. 40, a special district operating under Section 52, Article III, and Section 59, Article XVI, Texas Constitution and Chapters 49 and 54, Texas Water Code, to provide additional powers, including limited eminent domain. The property is approximately 1,229.695 acres in Williamson and Burnet Counties. Williamson County MUD No. 40 is generally located north of and adjacent to the Texas State Highway 29 with a western boundary approximately 1,750 feet southeast of Burnet County Road 322 and Texas State Highway 29 and an eastern boundary located approximately 1,400 feet northwest of existing Liberty Hill High School.
