PUBLIC NOTICE TO PROPOSERS
Pursuant to the provisions of Texas Government Code, Section §2269.255-256, it is the intention of Chasco Constructors, the Construction Manager-at-Risk for the YMCA of Central Texas - Georgetown Family YMCA, to select, via proposals from trade contractors and subcontractors, for provision of all labor, material, and equipment for the performance of all major elements of the work required to complete this project.
Proposals may be delivered to Chasco Constructors, 2801 East Old Settlers Blvd., Round Rock, TX 78665, or uploaded to BuildingConnected. Proposals must be received by 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday the 3rd of March 2026. Proposals must be labeled YMCA of Central Texas - Georgetown Family YMCA. Any addenda must be acknowledged in your proposal at the time of submission. All e-mailed proposals must be uploaded through BuildingConnected. Proposal Forms/Scope Sheets will be furnished for some, but not all scopes of work. Sealed proposals addressed to LENNAR HOMES OF TEXAS LAND AND CONSTRUCTION, LTD., ON BEHALF OF WEST WILLIAMSON COUNTY MUNICIPAL UTILITY DISTRICT NO. 2 (MUD), for the construction of “LIVELY TRACT – PHASE 6 – WATER, WASTEWATER, AND DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS” in Williamson County, TX, will be received at the office of Pape-Dawson, 10801 N MoPac Expy., Bldg 3, Suite 200 Austin, Texas 78759 UNTIL 3:00 P.M. ON THE DATE OF FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 13, 2026, at which time the proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud. No faxed bids will be accepted. Any proposals received after the closing time will be returned unopened. The bid is for all the Improvements for the project, which includes erosion controls, storm drain, water, and wastewater improvements and all labor, equipment, and other necessary appurtenances to construct the project. Prospective bidders are required to submit Statements of Qualification. Qualification forms are included in the bid documents. Failure to submit the required Statement of Qualification as required will be sufficient cause to reject a contractor’s bid.

All documents will be provided electronically and no hard copies will be given to contractors. Plans and specifications may be examined without charge at the office of the engineer. Bidders should carefully examine the plans, specifications, and other documents, visit the site of proposed work, and fully inform themselves as to all conditions and matters, which can in any way affect the work or the cost thereof. Should a bidder find discrepancies in, or omissions from the plans, specifications, or other documents, or should be in doubt as to their meaning, the Engineer shall be notified, and clarification obtained prior to submitting any bid.
A Cashier’s Check or Certified Check upon a national or state bank or Bid Bond payable without recourse to LENNAR HOMES OF TEXAS LAND AND CONSTRUCTION, LTD., in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total maximum bid price (Bidder’s Check or Bid Bond), must accompany the bid proposals as a guarantee that, if awarded the contract, the bidder will within ten (10) days of the award of the contract, enter into a contract and furnish an acceptable performance and payment bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price. The Bidder’s Check or Bid Bond will be forfeited and become the property of the Owner should the bidder fail to enter into a contract and furnish bonds acceptable to the Owner within ten (10) days after award of the contract. The notice of award of contract shall be given by the Owner within sixty (60) days after the bid opening. The Bidder’s Check or Bid Bond must be enclosed in the same envelope as the bid. Bids without a Bidder’s Check or Bid Bond will not be considered. All bid securities will be returned to the respective bidders within seventy-two (72) hours after bids are opened, except the three most qualified bidders, which the Owner elects to hold until the successful bidder has executed the contract. Thereafter, all remaining securities, including security of the successful bidder after entering into a contract, will be returned within forty-five (45) days of the notice of award. The successful bidder must furnish performance bond and payment bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price from an approved surety company holding a permit from the State of Texas to act as surety (and acceptable according to the latest list of companies holding certificates of authority from the Secretary or the Treasury of the United States) and having Best Key Rating Guide of A or better.
No proposals shall be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the opening of the bids.
The Owner reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids and to waive all technicalities or formalities in the bidding process. The Owner also reserves the right to determine which bid is most advantageous, and to award the contract on this basis.
A maintenance bond to the City of Leander will be required in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the contract and is to remain in force for a period of two (2) years from the date of final acceptance from the City. (Items within City of Leander ETJ).
A maintenance bond to West Williamson County Municipal Utility District No. 2 will be required in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the contract and is to remain in force for a period of one (1) year from the date of final acceptance from the City.
Contractors must be plan holders/reviewers of record, must submit their Statement of Qualification with the bid, in order for the bid to be considered. The MANDATORY PRE-BID meeting will be held at 3:00 P.M. ON THE DATE OF WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 4, 2026 at the office of Pape-Dawson.

Jarrell Independent School District (JISD) is requesting Proposals for Construction Manager-at-Risk services for the pre-bid services and construction of 2023 Bond Atlas Ranch Elementary School in Jarrell, Texas, pursuant to Texas Education Code using a one-step process.
