A Cashier’s Check or Certified Check upon a national or state bank or Bid Bond payable without recourse to GABH, LLC, in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total maximum bid price (Bidder’s Check or Bid Bond), must accompany the bid proposals as a guarantee that, if awarded the contract, the bidder will within ten (10) days of the award of the contract, enter into a contract and furnish an acceptable performance and payment bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price. The Bidder’s Check or Bid Bond will be forfeited and become the property of the Owner should the bidder fail to enter into a contract and furnish bonds acceptable to the Owner within ten (10) days after award of the contract. The notice of award of contract shall be given by the Owner within sixty (60) days after the bid opening. The Bidder’s Check or Bid Bond must be enclosed in the same envelope as the bid. Bids without a Bidder’s Check or Bid Bond will not be considered. A maintenance bond to the City of Pflugerville will be required in the amount of thirty-five percent (35%) of the contract and is to remain in force for a period of two (2) years from the date of final acceptance from the City. (Items within City of Pflugerville ETJ).
A maintenance bond to Lakeside Municipal Utility District No. 5 will be required in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the contract and is to remain in force for a period of one (1) year from the date of final acceptance from the District.
Contractors must be plan holders/reviewers of record, must submit their Statement of Qualification with the bid, in order for the bid to be considered.
