Representatives of the Owner and Engineer will be present to discuss the project. The engineer will distribute to prospecting Bidders a record of such Addenda as Engineer considers necessary in response to discussions or inquiries arising at the conference.

Bids must be accompanied by a bid bond with power of attorney attached or a cashier’s check of five percent (5%) of the total amount bid (sum of all bid items) made payable to Berry Creek (Georgetown) ASLI IX, LLC.

A Bid which, in the opinion of the Owner’s staff, deviates significantly from the contract Documents, and which has not been clarified through a written Addenda prior to Bid submittal deadline, shall be considered an exception to the Contract Documents and grounds for the Bid to be rejected. PUBLIC NOTICE TO PROPOSERS

Pursuant to the provisions of Texas Government Code, Section §2269.255-256, it is the intention of Chasco Constructors, the Construction Manager-at-Risk for the Berry Springs Park Improvements project, to select, via proposals from trade contractors and subcontractors, for provision of all labor, material, and equipment and for the performance of all major elements of the work required to reach a GMP. WBE/MBE/HUB and DBE certified companies are encouraged to submit proposals.

Proposals must be delivered and/or emailed to Chasco Constructors, 2801 East Old Settlers Blvd., Round Rock, TX 78665: and such proposals will be received until 2:00 p.m. on Thursday the 30th of November 2023. The City of Georgetown Development Services, hereby gives notice of the City of Georgetown’s intent to revise the flood hazard information, generally located between from approximately 5,500 feet upstream of IH-35 to the downstream side of IH-35 along Dry Berry Creek. The flood hazard revisions are being proposed as part of Conditional Letter of Map Revision (CLOMR) Case No. 23-06-1718R for a proposed project along Dry Berry Creek. Trails LLC is proposing to excavate and fill within the channel as part of multi-family development project. 

Once the project has been completed, a Letter of Map Revision (LOMR) request should be submitted that will, in part, revise the following flood hazards along Dry Berry Creek.

1. The SFHA will increase and decrease along Dry Berry Creek.

2. Base Flood Elevations will be established along Dry Berry Creek.

AQUA WATER SUPPLY CORPORATION PROPOSES RATE INCREASE

Bastrop, Texas – Aqua Water Supply Corporation has proposed a rate increase on which Aqua WSC’s Board of Directors will vote at its upcoming meeting on December 12, 2023.

If approved, the base rate for residential meters will increase from $28.70 to $31.60. First tier pricing (0 to 10,000 gallons) increases from $4.30 to $4.70 per 1,000 gallons. Second tier pricing (10,000 to 20,000 gallons) increases from $6.60 to $7.30 per 1,000 gallons. Third tier pricing (greater than 20,000 gallons) increases from $8.00 to $8.80 per 1,000 gallons. The average residential customer’s monthly bill will increase approximately $5.88. The rate for large volume service meters greater than one (1) inch in size changes from $5.70 to $6.30 per 1,000 gallons.

The Aqua WSC Board of Directors will consider a comprehensive review of the factors driving the rate increase, as well as any public comments, at the company’s December 12, 2023, Board meeting starting at 9:00 AM at the Corporation Office located at 415 Old Austin Highway in Bastrop, Texas.
