Sales tax update: Taylor more than doubles sales compared to last year

The following are sales tax revenues reported by the Texas Comptroller in June 2023, which is representative of activity from two months prior:
Georgetown
In the June 2023 report, Georgetown sales tax generated decreased by 7.81 percent when compared to June 2022.

Art Scapes: Charlie Favret’s art featured at Papi’s Pies

Charlie Favret is president of the Round Rock Arts organization and is the latest solo artist exhibiting at Papi’s Pies in Round Rock.
“The Beauty Within” is his collection of 20 abstract macro pieces in creative arrangements.
“This solo exhibition is very special to me,” he said.

Work on Sam Bass Road begins in Round Rock

Williamson County will hold a public ground breaking on Sam Bass Road for the Corridor H project at 2 p.m. Friday, May 19.
The project will widen the roadway from Ranch to Market Road 1431 to Wyoming Springs Drive in anticipation of future traffic needs.
