BiG opens Grace Place community for special needs adults

For 14 years, Brookwood in Georgetown has operated vocational programs for adults who are diagnosed with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

New BiG residential community takes shape in Weir

Construction is underway at Grace Place, the new residential community that will serve Brookwood in Georgetown.  BiG is a nonprofit vocational community where adults with special needs learn to become artisans, bakers, card makers, jewelry makers and more.

Best of Georgetown winners include The Caring Place, BiG and Blue Corn Harvest

The votes are in for the 2022 Best of Georgetown contest.   Hosted annually by the Convention and Visitors Bureau, the Best of Georgetown contest recognizes outstanding Georgetown businesses, restaurants and shops.  There are 44 categories, including best attractions, services and activities.
