The Caring Place resumes food pantry donations

After a hiatus caused by Covid-19, The Caring Place is now accepting food and other pantry donations from the public.

The votes are in for the 2022 Best of Georgetown contest.
Hosted annually by the Convention and Visitors Bureau, the Best of Georgetown contest recognizes outstanding Georgetown businesses, restaurants and shops.
There are 44 categories, including best attractions, services and activities.

Holiday food drive begins at The Caring Place

Because of a dip in food intake this year, The Caring Place is holding a fundraiser over the winter months to support families in need.
“Last year we raised over $87,000 for the food pantry during the final three months of the year alone,” said David Earl, food programs and facilities director.
