By Laura Klein Plunkett History has a way of surfacing when you least expect it. Tucked away on private property surrounding one of the oldest houses in the county is a small cemetery hidden by weeds and time.

Ellen Brumder and her husband Nick, co-founders of Our Lady of the Rosary Cemetery & Prayer Gardens, were on hand Saturday, April 27, 2024 to celebrate Art in the Gardens, the 20th anniversary of Our Lady. The couple live in New Zealand, but return to the area occasionally. (Sun Archive)
