New Year means a clean house

From the end of November through the end of January, the City of Georgetown offers multiple ways for residents to get rid of string lights, Christmas trees and wrapping paper. Residents are encouraged to recycle these items to reduce landfill waste.

Boy scouts, tree sales keep holiday traditions alive

Christmas is only two weeks away, and many Georgetown residents have already picked out their trees for this year.
