Beautify Georgetown with a riverbank cleanup

A riverbank cleanup at Rivery Park will take place Tuesday, March 24, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. During the event — which is organized by the City of Georgetown — trash bags, gloves, light snacks and drinks will be provided. Participants should wear long pants, hats, sunglasses and closed-toe shoes.

Have a sweet time at the Christmas Stroll

This weekend, downtown Georgetown will turn into a winter wonderland with the 44th annual Christmas Stroll. This year’s stroll — which takes place Friday, December 5 to Sunday, December 7 — is Candyland themed.

ROCK announces keynote speaker for Cowgirl Brunch

The Ride of Center for Kids announced the featured speaker at its fourth annual Cowgirl Brunch will be Wen Zhang, an executive coach and founder of the INNW Institute – a nonprofit and marketing firm that helps businesses and entrepreneurs.

Street closures set for Two Step Inn

Various street and San Gabriel Park closures will be in effect from March 25 through April 11 to accommodate the Two Step Inn music festival, which takes place April 5 and 6.

Two Step Inn coming to Georgetown for three more years

Georgetown has locked in the Two Step Inn festival for an additional three years. City council on May 28 renewed its contract with C2 Acquisitions, LLC to produce Two Step Inn in San Gabriel Park until 2027. This is the first multi-year renewal between the city and company.
