Despite the rapid growth of technological businesses in Williamson County, agriculture remains a top industry, providing jobs and food for both those in and outside of the county. According to the Farm Service Agency there are 291,000 acres of cropland in Williamson County.

Pecan lovers can rejoice this month with two opportunities to enjoy and show off their crops. All county residents with a pecan tree are welcome to participate in the 2022 Williamson-Bell County Pecan Show on December 13 and the Williamson County Pecan Food Show on December 15.
