Two longtime St. David’s leaders set to retire

St. David’s Georgetown Hospital will say goodbye to two longtime organizational figures — Chief Executive Officer Hugh Brown and Chief Medical Officer Dr. Jim Donovan.
The two men are retiring after serving 14 and 15 years at the hospital, respectively.

After winning Chamber award, Lone Star Circle of Care looks back at big 2022

Lone Star Circle of Care was awarded the Georgetown Chamber of Commerce’s “2022 Big Business of the Year” award, just in time for the group’s 20th anniversary.
The Georgetown-headquartered healthcare provider has approximately 700 employees in six Texas counties, with 27 clinical locations.

Williamson County buildings add Narcan to medical kits

Buildings operated by Williamson County received 63 boxes of Narcan in November as a life-saving measure for potential future overdose victims.
Narcan is an emergency drug used to treat opioid overdoses.
According to the county, Narcan is administered as a nasal spray.
