Strings & Things: K-pop powerhouse MAMAMOO brings U.S. tour to H-E-B Center

The 19-day MAMAMOO 2026 U.S. tour features members Solar (vocals), Moonbyul (rapper), Wheein (vocals) and Hwasa (rapper) on a reunion tour celebrating the group’s 12th anniversary. Local fans can catch the group at H-E-B Center at Cedar Park on Friday, August 21, at 7:30 p.m.

Not Past 11 is a jazz band based in Georgetown that belts out a mix of favorites from the 1960s, ’70s and ’80s including rock, funk and contemporary jazz versions of songs from artists like Stevie Wonder, The Beatles and more.

Two Step Inn sees delays, refunds for rainout

Rainclouds threatened the Two Step Inn festival all day Saturday, April 18, and when the steadily darkening clouds finally released water around 5:30 p.m., it was a deluge. Lightning and heavy rain sparked a weather delay, cancellation of several acts and eventually a weather evacuation.
