Interior design boutique and café calls South Main Street home

“Do all things with love, with amor.” That’s the business model for Jasmin Sky Peña, who opened interior design store Decor with Amor and Pan Tostado Café with her husband, Mario Esquivel. “You have to do all things with love because that will reflect on your work,” she said.

Burgers, boozy milkshakes, all-day breakfast and a jukebox that plays old tunes are now on the Square.Gold Burger Diner could open as early as next week on Seventh Street in the building that housed Gold’s Department store from 1936 to 1996.

New burger restaurant opens in Cedar Park, gives back to community

Connecticut-based hamburger franchise Wayback Burgers held a grand opening and ribbon cutting for their newest location in Cedar Park. Festivities for the grand opening began with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

Former H-E-B to turn into Floor & Decor

According to a permit from the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, the former H-E-B located at 1101 South Interstate-35 Frontage Road in Georgetown will turn into a Floor & Decor.  The project will cost an estimated $7,200,000, with construction starting May 1 and finishing in November.

Blue Corn Harvest Bar and Grill will open a new restaurant in Round Rock. The locally owned restaurant —  which originally opened in Cedar Park in 2012 — is a member of Go Texan which helps promote local farmers and businesses in the casual Southwestern-style menu.

Academy launches grand opening in Hutto

Academy Sports and Outdoors held a grand opening celebration for its Hutto location this weekend.  To kick off the festivities, the retail store held a preview night for the Hutto YMCA After School program on Thursday, November 16.

Japanese retail store expands to Round Rock

International retail chain Daiso will have its grand opening in La Frontera Village in Round Rock on Saturday, November 18.   The new Daiso store is 7,500 square feet and will offer customers Japanese-inspired home decor, stationery, food and more.

Scheels will bring ferris wheel, huge fish tank to Cedar Park

Giant sports apparel store Scheels announced it is bringing its second Texas store to Cedar Park. The store is set to open near the H-E-B Center by the fall of 2026.  The facility will be home to 75 specialty shops and boutiques totaling over one million pieces of inventory.
