Georgetown Health Foundation gives $1.6 million in grants

Georgetown Health Foundation awarded approximately $1.6 million in grants to 19 area charities on June 12.  According to a press release, Georgetown Health Foundation works with its grant partners to “achieve the common goal of improving community health.”

Greater Taylor Foundation awarded $1 million at kick-off event

A $1 million gift was presented to the Greater Taylor Foundation Monday, June 26, during the launch of the nonprofit’s Impact Taylor initiative.

Williamson County recognizes organizations fighting child abuse

Williamson County declared April National Child Abuse Awareness and Prevention month Tuesday, April 4, during commissioners court. County commissioners drew attention to the efforts of county organizations protecting county youth by reading a proclamation and recognizing the Go Blue Committee.
